The women and work living inside the Sifali flagship
There’s a reason so many of the books, artworks and objects inside the Sifali flagship are by women.
Sifali has always been shaped by the people and references around it. I’ve been deeply inspired by women who built things before me. Seeing their work made me realise how much possibility there really was, and as we began rebuilding the flagship, I wanted that feeling to exist physically within the store.
Not simply as decoration, but as part of the experience.
Bardha Krasniqi
Bardha has photographed Sifali’s growth since day one, so having her work inside the flagship feels particularly significant.
Her book will be one of the first you’ll find in the store. There is something special about having the work of someone who has documented our history now becoming part of the next chapter herself.
Readinroom
Our collection will continue to grow, but some of the first references include Renell’s Ice magazine and Solange’s Apartamento.
I return to Apartamento often, particularly Solange’s section and the story behind the sofa she designed. I love the idea of creating a home around the way you actually want to live rather than around how a space is expected to look.
That thinking has influenced Sifali too.
Nadine Mos
Art will live throughout the flagship, including work by Nadine Mos.
I wanted the pieces we chose to feel connected to the wider world of Sifali rather than simply filling empty walls.
Sumara Laika
The flagship also gives us the opportunity to expand the cultural side of Sifali.
Our reading room with Nubia Assata was an early glimpse of that. It brought people together around books, conversation and shared references, and felt completely natural to what Sifali is becoming.
It is about surrounding the space with people and work that have genuinely inspired the brand and shaped my thinking.
I want someone to be able to walk into Sifali for a treatment and leave with something else too: a new reference, a new idea, or simply the feeling that something is possible.
